salvaging a card

Not every technique turns out. As I mentioned before, I had trouble with the paint resist technique. In my initial attempt I used a stamp without a bold stamping face, too much fine detail.

The fine stamp did not have enough area of paint for a good resist image when ink was buffed onto the painted surface. I knew I couldn't use the panel I created as my example of the technique, but it was too pretty to toss.

As a card, this is pretty and I like the effect.

see you next time, mel xoxo
